How would you feel if someone sent a musician to your home for an intimate private performance?  

That is what “Caring through Music Private Performance Experience” is all about.  I can either visit your loved one or do the performance virtually.

What does it include?

You can choose 60 or 90 minutes.  It includes a minimum of 4 songs, chatting, and getting to know them, and sharing a special moment. 

Live Streaming or Recording

Depending on the location, up to 100 people can join in and watch live.  Performance will be recorded to add to your memories and share with those that can't attend.

You can schedule the performance for in-person or online.

Do I get a recording of the experience?

All experiences will be recorded.  If your loved one is in a facility, there may be rules that I have to adhere to.  It will be up to you to make sure video recordings are allowed. 

Can I watch the performance online?

Whether the performance is in-person or virtual, you will get a link to join.  You can share the link with others who may wish to join in as well.  If the location is in an area that is prone to issues with internet connectivity, this service might be limited.  The performance will still be recorded and available to be watched at a later time. 

Can I come to the performance?

You are free to come to the live performance and help celebrate. 

ARE YOU VACCINATED?

Yes, I do have my COVID vaccination. 

CAN I REQUEST SONGS?

Absolutely, I want the experience to be as personalized as it can be.  On the form, you can request a song and I will make all attempts to play that song, a song by the same artists, or something similar.  Depending on the song and logistics, I may not be able to fulfill all requests. 

What is included?

Either 60 minutes or 90 minutes of active time with your loved one.  The time begins once I enter the room or home.  If virtual, time starts when I begin the session.   I use this beginning to set-up the equipment, chat with your loved one, and get to know them.  A minimum of 4 songs will be performed.  

What if the person is in a medical facility?

If your loved one is in a medical facility (hospital, skilled nursing facility, rehab), I will sing A Capello or use a backtrack. I will not bring my piano to adhere to the standards of the facility.  The volume of my singing might need to be lowered to avoid disruption of medical services. 

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

There are no age restrictions.  We provide our service to babies, infants, toddlers, teenagers, and adults. 

Do you require any equipment?

I bring everything I need including an electric keyboard, music, computer, chair, and portable power supply.  If the home has a working, accessible piano, I can use that instead. 

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations up to 4 hours before performance can be rescheduled one time with no additional charges, any extras will not be refunded and will need to be repurchased. 

Do you offer refunds?

There are no refunds unless there is an error on my end.

Will I get a recording of the performance?

Most locations do provide the opportunity to record audio and video.  I do have to respect the boundaries of the organization outside of a person’s home.  If the rules are that I cannot record video, I should be able to record an audio.  

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Fill out the form above and I will send you a complete cost breakdown and details of openings.  If a person is in a facility, you will need to check on any rules regarding outside visitors

What if the individual gets sick or the facility closes due to unforeseen sickness, such as COVID.

How can I make it a surprise?

The easiest way to surprise your loved one is to inform that they have a delivery coming and they need to be available to receive the delivery.  I recommend telling them to be available during the full hour as that is the “delivery window.”

I will be coming into the individuals home/room to do the performance.  If there are issues with their home environment, I suggest a virtual performance instead. 

If a person has a severe illness and is immune compromised, I also suggest a virtual performance.

What happens if there is an emergency or a conflict in the schedule?

Performances can be cancelled up to 4 hours and rescheduled.  

Because of the work we put into it, full refunds can only be offered in the case of hospitalization, moving, or death of the individual.  Full refunds will be provided with documentation. 

When is payment due?

Full payment is due 48 hours before performance.  Payments not received 48 hours before will be cancelled. 

What suggestions do you have for virtual performances?

The person needs to have a good internet connection.  The best experience will occur on a computer, but a cell phone will be acceptable. 

If the person is not computer savvy, it is best to have someone there to assist them. 

Refunds or extended time will not be granted for computer or internet issues.

We understand not everyone is able to afford our services and we want to help those that we can.
